Primordial Forest
This is the second in my little series of line abstracts. A primordial forest, to my way of thinking, was a work in evolutionary progress. You might have been able to glimpse what the end result would have looked like early on but there still remained some distance to go before reaching a point recognizable today. The process of creating whether in the natural world or even in a painting has a certain chaotic appearance initially even though most of the ingredients are in place to make something appealing to the eyes. I’m not making any great claims for this piece but it was fun to do.
