Rufford Abbey a suitable case for treatment.

Beautifully painted.

Lovely painting with a superb array of greens.

Oh, I know that ‘green feeling’ so well! You’ve done a great job.

Well, you've conquered green as far as I'm concerned - a great painting Brian

Beautiful colours and stonework Brian.

Thank you for your supportive comments Paula, Christine, Katy, Heather, Gillian and Zoe. With your help I'm feeling a little more relaxed with green. Would you believe I thought green was a simple mix of blue & yellow? Finally it dawned on me that it matters which blue and which yellow & furthermore extending it to a tertiary colour seems to knock it back into shape. Isn't it just wonderful that we can learn something every day?

Love the variations of green in the foliage Brian. You really have mastered the use of green. Hope this helps your phobia. Beautifully painted and especially the brickwork and garden chair.

Yes thank you Carole maybe I can consider the problems I'm having with purple now.

Another winner Brian.

Brian, I think you can consider your green challenge conquered! A wonderful summer scene, it’s fresh and relaxing to gaze up on and the centre piece, the building, is beautifully painted.

Thank you Fiona. I hope you are correct though I doubt I will ever let my guard down you never know when its likely to bite back. Gosh, for something that started tongue in cheek it's all getting a little out of hand.

Hang on Studio Wall

Against my better judgement and in line with my therapists advice I stuck to a subject for a painting with a predominance of green. Taking heed of the advice I'm taking on, face to face, my nightmare of the colour. It remains a great challenge but I am determined to better it and will continue with the treatment, difficult as it may be.
