Lots of activity and christmaslights, excellent depiction.

Like this a lot Jim....full of life & captures the title...

Full of life and colour, lovely.

You are a fine colourist Jim and a free draughtman

I was just commenting on a piece by Satu, her stuff always shows such enthusiasm. This always applies to your work Jim, you demonstrate this in bucket loads, and you tackle such complex subjects, subjects that I wouldn't dare go near. Nice energetic work.

Christmas too early of course, good work Jim. Our next Urban Sketchers group meet is based on the cheap and tatty German Christmas market in Southampton and although will hate to be associated with it, will be in attendance, sketching something else hopefully.

Busy scene Jim depicting the hustle and bustle of the season. Good work.

I get the feeling Jim. Beautiful painting but hellish environment. Just come back from shopping in manic Durham City.

Thanks to all for the encouraging comments. Just got back from the supermarket, so now it's just a dog walk then it's football time...(-:

That's pretty fantastic Jim, you have caught the busy market so well. I just came back from our town centre where the stalls had been put up for tonight's Xmas market and the feeling was exactly like in your painting.

Thanks Satu. In fairness the Christmas Market in out town is usually a great success. Prices tend to be a bit higher generally, and last year one stall said purchases had to be over £12. That 's a bit like cutting your nose off to spite your face to me. Great atmosphere though and they've resurected the Nativity crib.

Lots of hustle and bustle, Jim. Great colours

Very colourful and festive, Jim - a bright joy-filled piece.

Wow, that’s remarkable in its busy atmosphere. The light is wonderful too.

I loved going to the Christmas market in Lincoln, didn’t miss many years...didn’t buy anything I would eat my way around it! Lol Good job there are plenty of steep hills in Lincoln to use up the calories. This is all that the markets are about, it has that buzz Jim.

looking at this makes me want mulled wine, better still, Smoking Bishop, a fine recipe with wine and port ...
