A lovely ‘alive’ painting, Jim! The touches of warm shades really make it sparkle, and help to accentuate the coldness of the day.

An eye catcher , Jim , - and I note the comment of applying water colour over oil pastel. An interesting concept and possibly resulting in some unexpected results ??

Refreshed this using watercolours. One of the few (maybe only?) oil pastels I ever did. Not even sure if I still have them; in a box under a bed somewhere maybe. I'll have to look. . Might make a Christmas Card..
