Well I eventually went with a mixture of watercolours and inks on this one. The poor little Fae creature has been dropped into the brambles by a passing troll. They have a weird sense of humour. Unfortunately, as the title suggests, she can't spread her wings and fly out in case they get ripped on the thorns. I'm sure the determined lass will get away without damage though.
