Wonderful. Perhaps the chicken had ... said something?

This really makes me smile, as does your story behind it! It's fabulous - fun and really captures the moment!

BRILLIANT ! I love it !!!!!!!!!!!

I love this cartoon. So much humour, the expression on that poor chicken's face is priceless and the badger looks so determined. You've made me smile today, such a nice story with a happy ending. I don't imagine that a badger would eat a chicken so he must have really upset him!

Lovely piece....

Beau-ti-fulllll. This is excellent!

Great cartoon! I agree with all the above

Thanks for the kind words on the above picture. We thought the chicken may have said something to the badger to cause offence too.

What fun, really made me smile.

Last year I was alerted to this phenomenon when I heard the cry 'Good grief, there's a badger chasing a chicken in the orchard'. Needless to say I ran to help and chased the badger off. The chicken must have had a real adrenilin rush as it had done two laps of the paddock and one of the orchard with the badger close on it's heels. The crazy thing was that the badger was ignoring the other chickens who just stood and watched as they ran past. It was determined to get this particular chicken.
