Thanks Cesare, Sandra, Willie and Carole. This year I seem to have wanted to paint acrylic on canvas and country scenes! This is a bit of a departure for me as it is quite big - 60 x 60cm and I had to remember that it takes a lot of brush strokes etc., to cover that area. So patience was needed. The photograph of this scene was my screen saver for some months until I couldn't stand it any longer and had to have a go at it! I am now working on another 60 x 60 canvas, this time of clifftops again in Cornwall, covered in wildflowers. This photo is also my screen saver. Perhaps looking at such beauty every day not only lifts the spirits but makes you want to paint it!!
