I like what I see. Admiration I have tried one portrait and decided it is not for me. Well done. I know what you mean about images on screen. Try taking the photo outside an a bright but not full sun afternoon... If your camera has a 'Museum Setting' try using that...

Thanks for the feedback. I'm new to portraits, but the more I do the harder it is! I need to get a bit looser and not be too wary of offending people.

Thanks for taking the time to comment on Alloa Inch. Just been checking out your gallery and you are very good at portraits. I've not seen them when they have been posted but so many paintings are added to this web site blink and you miss them! I'll be watching out for them in future though. Well done.
