You have captured this dogs expression beautifully & i fully sympathise with him. The colours & fur is spot on, & yes i like it. well done.

My goodness Ann you are a sucker for dogs just like me although I have never tried to paint one his is just so wonderful...you certainly captured his mood well the whole picture is lovely...when I looked at it I thought he looks like I feel

I was inspired by Alans wonderful portraits, so I thought I'd have a go with pastel pencils. I'm a million miles away from his standard, but I am enjoying working with pastels and hope to improve. This was taken from a photo on the front of the Times...I wanted to try to capture his expression. For a first attempt it's not too bad.
