I get the bottom three quarters, but the top right hand corner to edge leaves me confused as it looks like part of a window frame.

Oh does it? Yes I can see what you mean now. We all see different things especially in abstract. it is really meant to be reflections of water and what I saw in my minds eye at the harbour. A kind of mix of memories painted in my studio when I got home. Thank you for commenting.

The beauty of abstraction is that it's not supposed to represent anything. I think that you have done ever so well here and I love the result Valerie.

I love this painting Valerie. I started with abstract and really want to go back to that. Lovely colours and your composition would go well in NZ, a lot of the abstract paintings I see in hotel or corporate settings are grid-type.
