Lovely, super greens and love those darks too, full of atmosphere

This is really good, like how you have drawn the buildings , those deep shadows are excellent.

This is really good Martin.

I’m liking this one a lot… very good on the tonal side and I like the palette!

And those little spots of light - they make it for me.

Thanks all for taking the time to write your kind comments on this fairly nondescript scene. I do appreciate them

Well painted, Martin!

Interesting composition, love the range of greens - and agree with Marjorie, those little spots of light really make it.

I love this shady corner Martin. Some super shadows and the sprinkle of light (as mentioned) brings it to life.

Beautifully painted Martin.

Thanks again for your generous words

Great drawing, lovely scene, but it's those patches of light that make it!

Started en plein air with pens on cartridge paper and added watercolour and Aquarel pencil in studio. Had to stretch the paper after completion as the paper had cockled badly. Apart from tearing a small corner off it seems to have worked surprisingly well. Some detail is not so crisp but a price worth paying for a flat picture. 11x11” approx
