I sketched the castle on a visit early April and completed it in studio adding colour. It’s a place we used to visit as children when the keep was just a n open empty cylinder. In the 90s wooden framework and floors were rebuilt and the upper roooms are now accessible so it’s much more interesting. Carbon Ink and watercolour on Arches CP paper 12x9”
