One of my local dog walks’ takes me along the lane from which you can see this view. The lake is a recently excavated sand quarry and prior to that was plundered for lawn turf. These activities are still going on not far from here and more lakes are planned. I’m sure it will be a wildlife haven eventually. Started En plein air with Fude pen and completed in studio with watercolour On Canson 1577 paper 16x12 “
