Beautifully done Martin.

A beautiful painting, Martin.

Great ink work Martin. Very effective. Like those reflections.

Beautiful, Martin. Love everything about it - colours, marks….that balustrade!

You’ve done a brilliant job with a difficult structure. I like the materials you have used

Excellent artwork 👌

Lovely ink work Martin, it compliments the fine watercolour washes so well.

Very good work Martin, super drawing of the bridge.

Well Done...

A super painting Martin. Your care over painting the bridge has paid off as it is particularly well done.

It's great Martin and, yes, would have been very tricky indeed.

Indeed a challenging subject Martin, but a lovely one, and I can see why you were attracted to it. I think you’ve achieved a really good result. Those arches are excellent!

It will most definitely do Martin, lovely work

Thanks Tessa. Glad you like the arches. I was at least pleased with them myself

Thanks Frank and Petra. Kind of you to have a look and comment

On a cold but beautiful sunny day I started En plein air with pencil sketch and added ink and watercolour indoors. I found this structure quite a challenge as the arches are different sizes and there are angles and curves that need to be right or it looks wonky. I didn’t help myself by standing at an oblique angle below. Anyway it’ll have to do! Carbon ink and watercolour on Arches Cp 14x11”
