This is the first of three images taken from my original painting which was quite large. I wanted to show that by painting a larger picture more than one image can be used from it. This helps you if you have completed a picture but you are not happy with a certain area of it. Never throw anything away most drawings or paintings can be cropped to make interesting images and occasionally you can get more than one from the original as with this one I love Echinacea and these were growing very tall and straight, just shouting to be painted ,bees and insects love them so I always try to grow them in my garden. Having completed the painting I wanted to have it reproduced on greetings cards but decided to go for the cropped version instead.
