I very often walk along the beach at Long Rock in Mounts Bay, and look back towards Penzance.On this particular morning the light was very golden. This painting was tackled in the same way as Sunshine After the Rain. The paper was loaded with water first and then paint applied and allowed to do its own thing, leaving a hazey layer of paint. When dry I went back into the painting to suggest the sky line of Penzance.
