I produced these heads for Nativity figures, Mary, Joseph three shepherds and the Angel Gabriel, for a simple tableau outside our church of St Mary's where they will be (and are) given bodies and suitably dressed.. How could I refuse?. They were formed round balloons in the well practised way of papier mache (strips of pasted newspaper) and painted in acrylic. Not having too much time they were designed in a 'cartoonish' fashion but I think they work?
