An unmade, un-cared for road through a bleak landscape to who knows where. Just to cheer you up, yes there are worse potholes elsewhere in this world (other than in the UK) This image, largely from vague recollection. On canvas board, charcoal and acrylic and using a variety of techniques and re-purposed ( non-arty) implements, decorators, as well as standard artist brushes.
