Dogwood
Acrylic on watercolour paper primed with gesso. An impression of a fallen tree branch, seemingly charging out of the undergrowth like a very skinny dog, or maybe charging back in investigating some interesting smell. Its strange how even a dead, fallen branch can take on an animal form, it takes only a little imagination.
