Looking into the sun on the edge of woodland. Once again inspired by a scene that greeted my eye and loosely adapted from a photograph I took at the time. I was quite dazzled by the bright sunlight and fascinated by the colours in the shadows. ( shadows aren't always the daylight colour with a bit of grey or black thrown in). This is in soft pastel on heavyweight cartridge paper.
