I must confess that I have captured this scene before, though that was a while ago before the fields either side of the track were planted. Now the crop is ready to be harvested and the brilliant yellow will be replaced by a muddy greenish brown. I was struck by the contrast with the blue sky. In acrylic on unstretched canvas, using a variety on implements, of which applying pant is not their primary purpose ( but I do use brushes as well.
