Rocky pool by Anthony Stubbs
High in a bleak landscape on a cold, fine but windy day. this is an image put together from memories of a similar place, hence it is meant only to represent my sense of being here. Executed on a redundant piece of mdf shelving, measuring 74cm x 29cm, liberally primed with gesso. Though primarily in acrylic, I used a variety of media and techniques. there is a little bit of collage (rocks), graphite pencil, acrylic ink, and a variety of mark- making implements.
