Gosford Bay

Hi Tom, this is a nice painting, I like it. May I make just one suggestion? Your canvas is in Portrait mode, turned on it's side would be landscape mode and I think would suit your landscape painting better, but well done.

I can see what Norman means, but I rather like it as it is. I think the quietness of that big sky is a perfect foil for the interest of the beach for foreground. We spend a lot of time in Norfolk and it reminds me of the beaches there. Well done, indeed.

Very nice painting, I like the dry brush effect beach.

The area that is depicted is dotted with a few tank blocks used in WW2,and I decided to make the picture in portrait form in order enhance the view.
