Thank you everybody. This is one of those paintings that shrinks down to look pretty photographic, but it's still mostly blobs and smears.

I can feel the chill in the low light and the urge to tramp into the sunnier parts. I was thinking that the snow would be the kind to squeak as you walk but feel that it might be lighter powder. Either way, the painting keeps you looking and feeling that you the viewer are part of it.<br />
