This was a painting for my sister's birthday. This was my first time painting with Acrylic on canvas. I wanted to use acrylic as I could apparently paint dark to light, which, to my mind was a lot simpler than trying to work out the watercolour techniques I would need! It took a long time for such a small painting, but this was mostly spent trying out techniques as I went on a mass of spare boards surrounding this on my easel!
