I painted this for my Father-In-Law after the felling of the Sycamore Gap tree. This was my first tree painted in Acrylic and it had some challenges, mostly fear, as I painted the "Gap" first then added the tree. For a while I was tempted to leave it as the new look Sycamore Gap, but in the end was quite happy how the tree turned out.
