Beautiful walk last Friday at Upnor on the north shore of the river Medway, along the Saxon Shore Way but only to be attempted at low tide!! The weather that morning was atrocious although occasionally we had a break in the rain and the sun made a fleeting appearance. I tried to capture the subtle light in this watercolour sketch.
