Lynda - thank you for a very warm welcome - yes I am new to this site - and new to painting - i have always been involved with creative interests, but thought i couldn't draw. Having positive comments has encouraged me to have the confidence to post some of my work - one reveals so much of oneself through ones art - it is a difficult step to take - exposing oneself - although once made that step gets easier - I am enjoying it very much. Yes, my health is much better i am going great guns.

This cabbage was grown by me - painted by me - this was a very profound picture as I had just had a heart attack - studying this cabbage when preparing it for the meal so reminded me of the human heart and its arteries . I used water colour paints which I am still learning about.
