After contemporary US artist Maurice Sapiro, and painted with his permission. This is a study I made two years ago that sits on my bedroom wall for inspiration! I really admire his work partly because it is very much inspired by JMW Turner! I used Gamblin Neo Megilp, and many layers of glazes to get the glowing effects.
