Worth the effort Thalia

Very effective colour and paint application in this lovely scene Thalia.

Love the use of strong colour here Thalia, says Mediterranean.

Lovely use of colour and brushstrokes Thalia. An intriguing little building and love the steps leading up to it.

Thank you very much indeed it was worth the effort, Heather! Thank you , Shaun, how kind! Thanks Paul, Stephen, and Carole, yes there are similar watchtowers all over these islands, built in the days of the Knights of Malta, to protect the inhabitants from slavers and marauders. Many are being restored, as has San Blas recently.

Definitely worth the discomfort Thalia.....terrific.

It’s got a fresh feel to it. Lovely foreground

Great colours and style Thalia.

Your paintings are great promotion for the island, Thalia. I love this one, the bold colour and the simple form of the building against the complex foreground.

Thank you really appreciate these comments as I almost didn't post this one!! Thank you Fiona, Romila, Carole, and Willie, for all your kind words

Painted sitting in the prickly garigue above San Blas Bay, as it was very cold and very windy!
