I started this painting some weeks ago, but as I painted the sun was completely lost in cloud and mist [100% humidity is quite normal here!] A few days ago the wind abated, the sun was shining, so I took the painting outside again and gave it a good talking to!!! I highlighted some areas and put deeper shadows in others, which has, I hope, improved it.
