Delicate and beautiful Thalia.

This is so pretty Thalia - love the title ha ha.

Beautifully done Thalia. You paint a lovely picture with words as well. :-)

Beautiful, Thalia.

A fine piece of watercolour Thalia.

So fresh, light, clean and airy Thalia. Classy work.

So delicate and fresh, Thalia.

lovely darks, Thalia and a gossamer trail of lobelia make this a beautiful painting, well done.

Beautiful lobelia Thalia and a great title.

Many thanks Carole, Marjorie, Tessa, Seth, Rachel, Michael, Jim, Ellen, Willie and Sandra. Glad you all like it, thought I'd better paint them before I, or the heat, kill them all off!!! Marjorie, I've never seen so much lobelia!!! they're everywhere, some plants even survived through our cold wet windy winter!

This is beautifully done Thalia...light & airy just like lobelia...

Beautiful work Thalia, love that pot, you have really caught the glaze on it well.

Aren't they fabulous! I bought some yesterday but it's too cold here at the moment to put them out so I'm growing them on a little. This is a gorgeous painting Thalia.

Thank you very much indeed,Gudrun, Sylvia, Linda, and Margaret, your comments are really kind. I'm going to try a real close up of them in bright sunlight, but will have to work from a photo as the sun disappears so fast!

Wow, this works so well. The light and vibrancy of colours gives your painting a dynamic impact

So lovely Thalia!

Another great painting, a bit like your pansies which I loved and it was great to read your write-up about how you went about creating your lovely picture - well done, Thalia. This another beauty.

Thank you very much, Richard, Diana, Ibolya and Maureen, I really appreciate your kind and helpful comments

Lovely summery work Thalia. Such a good background..not overdone, just right!

Lovely Thalia. I love lobelia in my tubs but unfortunately have to replace them year after year due to our cold weather.

I love lobelia... such a gorgeous blue, last year we grew them from seed...this year our tiny courtyard is inundated with them as they self seeded themselves in every pot they could find!!! There are a few white, and a few pink ones. I sat out in the yard to paint them as the sun fell on them, but we're surrounded by three story buildings so the sun is only very briefly there.
