I can almost feel the juicy paint Thalia, I just love your colour palette and your mark making is superb.

This is lovely, Thalia. Beautiful and sunny.

Thank you very much Barry and Ellen. Those are very kind comments

Beautiful marks and wonderfully simplified Thalia.

Very lovely painting, Thalia.

Thank you very much, Carole and Seth, that's very kind of you. Incidentally, that's not bird mess on the Merzuk hill, it's a statue, a copy of the Christ statue in Rio de Janeiro!!!

Fabulously loose and free Thalia.

That's lovely Thalia. Your sky seems to be green in this but looking at the other photo I can see that it is blue, must be some changes in the camera!

That loose style is just perfect for me Thalia, great work.

This one is wonderful, Thalia, I like the colours, the brush and knife strokes, the light and the impressionistic style. It makes the viewer's imagination free.

Fabulous work Thalia!

Love your colours Thalia.

Thank you very much Fiona, Margaret, Alan, Cesare, Ibolya, and Sandra, your comments are really appreciated. Just for the record, I'm using paints new to me, and the green tinge in the sky is because I was experimenting with them and also not using my usual Titanium White...Had to resort back to it though as it didn't work...hence all the slippery paint!!!

This is a very loose study of an exceedingly complicated scene. I've been longing to have an excuse to paint the nasturtiums which are out in profusion at the moment, and decided to paint this area. They are to the left, under the tree, looking decidedly poppy ish! I ended up with so much paint on the board I had to use a palette knife for most of the painting!!! I will probably have to tonk the sky to get it right!!!
