I love your sketch, Thalia. Also there are a couple of people wearing sunglasses! I look forward to the days when people need them. Your remarks about it being busy are interesting too. I guess it's what you're used to - we had a friend from Newfoundland visit, we were out driving and I was thinking 'not much traffic today', and she said 'is it always this busy, so much traffic...it's madness.' I feel the same when I go to London.

Sketch made sitting in the sun on someone's steps in this crazily busy square...there are far too many cars lorries etc on this tiny island. Painted really quickly, I drew into it with a fine line ink pen, and yes, the trees are trimmed to that extraordinary shape, and are a really deep heavy textured green, I used Cad yellow and dropped in Perylene Green for the darks.
