Thank you Brian! I find it really difficult to judge my own failures, especially out plein air, cos I guess I just paint instinctively without forethought...just what comes in front of me...and my water/coffee whatever!

Beautiful scene very well painted, Thalia, and lovely warm colours. The ladyes add interest to the painting. I downloaded for you a sketch adding a Stabilo pastel picture.

These four Maltese ladies, dressed to kill, passed by as I was painting whilst having a coffee in St Francis Square. They're a bit squiggly and probably not correct in relation to the rest of my picture which I had already painted. However I so enjoyed scribbling them in with their bright dresses!
