Gorgeous Thalia.

Super, love your use of colour

A classic Thalia, however achieved. Blue is without a doubt your prime colour. Lovely.

Thank you all, really appreciate your kind comments, Denise, Heather, Russell, Paul, and Jim. Indeed this is a classic owner- built and driven boat, one of the very few left.

This so vibrant, Thalia. Beautiful.

Always such beautiful colours in your paintings Thalia.

An experiment in glazing, following theories by Michael Wilcox. At least 15 layers of glazing to get the depth of colour in the sea in this! This is my favourite boat on the island, I wanted to get as much depth of colour as I could. The foreground actually started bright Azo yellow, glazed with numerous layers of pthalo blue, leaving the yellow shining through in places for the shallow water over the sand. A labour of love!!
