This is an underwater scene painted straight after a wonderful dive on Double Arch. I have always loved it but felt the fish needed a little more definition, it was an immediate response to how scenery actually looks whilst you're diving...NOT from a photo, but as you're actually moving with the flora and fauna underwater. I was trying for a plein air feel to it, to capture a moment in time.
