I have painted this one also Thalia, in oils and it's on my gallery somewhere. It's a fabulous building and you have captured the essence of it so well.

Like the loose way you have implied detail on the cathedral and played down the other buildings. Have you photographed this on a slight tilt?

Your architectural detail amazes me as you do it on such a small scale. Feel very acquainted with Malta now. Did go there many years ago but don't remember a great deal about it but it's beginning its to feel very familiar Thalia.

Another tiny 3x5ins picture painted whilst at my exhibition. The vehicles I hope give a sense of scale. This is the most amazingly ornate Baroque building inside and out. Hoping during the winter to actually paint inside here!
