The tree and shadow make the painting, Thalia. Super little watercolour.

Definitely worth a much larger work Thalia. Your tiny paintings are amazing.

I love the contrasts in your picture. I can feel the heat!

This would definitely make an excellent larger painting, but it's wonderful as is. The contrasting light and shadows are great, leaving the viewer with the feeling of intense light on a bright and sunny day. Smashing loose impression. Bri

Another lovely little painting 😀

Lovely Impressionist feel to this one Thalia. I am amazed that's so tiny, has the feel of a much larger work.

Works perfectly - a lovely painting.

It would make a lovely large painting.

Love it Thalia.

That's so very kind of you all, a huge thank you for your kind comments. I normally use Bockingford for my tinies, having seen these results on Saunders Waterford, I might well continue with this fabulous paper...not easy to obtain here!!! Thank you so very much, Seth, what a kind comment, and Jim, yes, I agree and will set about it forthwith! Thank you Stella and Brian, I shall think about your comments when I paint the bigger version. Thanks Linda, Stephen,[I call them our bread and butter, if you know what I mean...ie they pay the Gallery rent!] Thank you Shaun, Sandra and Elaine, i really appreciate these comments.

The light and warmth in this is wonderful. I love the brushstrokes of the front shadow.

Beautiful warm colours, Thalia, and beautiful dark shadows.

Great miniature painting, scaled down version works well however larger painting may lose spontaneity, Thalia

Oh! Thank you Diana...I will bear that comment in mind when I do a larger version! thank you Margaret, Cesare, and Ronald...point taken on board! I will use my huge swordliner...no fiddling possible with that!

Like the light and shade.

I feel that this one has definite potential for a larger painting, the tree on the left was so hard to achieve in this tiny 5x3ins painting, the scene warrants more space I feel!
