The colours are stronger in this version, Thalia. I think I prefer it.

What of perspective when the character and essence of the place is captured so well Thalia. I can feel the heat and imagine the stories these old buildings have to tell and you have even got a modern day story evolving with the inclusion of the kids arguing. Two lovely paintings.

Good atmospheric work Thalia, captures the feeling of the hot day. Reminds me of some post impressionist work, where the atmosphere is more important than the accuracy of drawing.

Such great architecture Thalia, a super piece indeed.

Who cares about perspectives when bowled over by much more .......sense of place, atmosphere, colour.......I could go on! It’s a beauty Thalia.

This is my preferred one too. Great character and a lovely use of colours.

Terrific, Thalia, good gutsey architecture. I tried a sketch like this in Valletta some time ago and got completely muddled. Nice to see it done properly

Your two posts certainly fit the bill Thalia , full of atmosphere, you can sense thhe heat.

Your two posts are super Thalia but I think I prefer this one as the colours are more vibrant, I love it!

You can feel the heat emanating from the painting Thalia. Well captured.

You’ve certainly captured the feel of heat in those rich colours Thalia, and the kids actually look as though they are arguing! Cleverly done.

Thank you everyone for your encouraging comments, Seth, Barry, Stephen, Alan, Fiona, Gudrun, Peter, Willie, Marjorie and Margaret

Thank you Carole and Tessa, You're all so kind!

These two posts might be contenders for the out of my comfort zone challenge...perspective not my strong point! However I enjoyed putting different washing on the lines, and altered some of the paintwork on the windows. I also put in a gang of kids having an argument!
