Poor Thalia. Having to paint in such weather.😀. Lovely scene, lovely painting.

Well how funny is that. It's directly under my top banner work at the moment, and I immediately noticed a similarity in colour. It looks great Thalia, and hot also.

What a great view you have Thalia and very well painted.

Wonderful painting Thalia, wish I was there.

Ha Ha, Seth! Thanks, you're very sweet, and welcome here any time!!! And you, that girl, Carole!! Thanks Alan, that was actually what I was trying to get, the colours are amazing again this morning, different, softer just done a quick WC to record it for later when I've more time as its windy again tomorrow, Thank you Barry, yes, I do realise how lucky I am to live here. The view from our tiny flat is awesome!

Lovely scene Thalia. I feel the heat.

Yes, it looks hot and sultry, and the impressionistic approach works very well indeed. Great suggestive painting. Brian

The blues are gorgeous Thalia and it must be lovely to have a heat haze .. 👍🏻 Lovely piece.

Lovely Thalia, love the sense of scale.

Thank you, Michael, Brian, Rachel and David. Your comments really help, and are much appreciated!

What a lucky lady you are to have this view! The blue in this is wonderful Thalia, and so like that of Alan's, beautiful work!

Beautiful, love your blues.

Thank you very much, Margaret and Sandra, I am a very lucky lady indeed also to have so many virtual arty friends!!!

Hang on Studio Wall

I was painting this from our lounge whilst attempting to help my very disparate group of students finish paintings ready to show in our exhibition on Friday. I was actually inspired by Alan's super painting of Sennen Cove. The blues in his are magical....mine not quite so!!! In case you're wondering, that is a heat haze which stayed all day over the sea, changing colour as the sun moved round us! Does it dominate???
