This is the second water colour sketch for my little commission of 3 oils destined for a home in Australia. Again this is line and wash, a technique I don't use very often, but it's a fast method to get as much detail as possible in. The three people chatting by the cars came and chatted to me, giving me their life history. That's what is so lovely about plein air on Malta and Gozo!!
