Hmmm!! too right Lewis...it's not called the Nun's Pool for nothing and the mind boggles! Thank you Lewis Michael and Michael and Jim, you're all very kind as I have loads of ideas but struggle to get them on canvas/paper to my own satisfaction. I paint instinctively and throw loads out or paint over them!

This is a sunset imagined from my sketches in the Nun's Pool, Xlendi, a steep difficult place to get to with full plein air equipment at my great age...I'm no longer the mountain goat that I used to be! Done from numerous sketches for the water effects, balancing on the rocks inside the cave!!
