In For Repairs by Thalia Stones

Hi Thalia: I am very impressed with your oil, In For Repairs. I love the brightness and deepness of your colours. I also love sea scapes, boats, docks etc. I am a watercolourist and trying to achieve the same richness of colour and depth in watercolour with a little success but need to improve. I realize they are two different mediums but like to experiment. I live in a small town in Dundas, Ontario, which is about 10 mins away from Hamilton and about 50 miles west of Toronto. I have visited Cornwall and loved it. Betty Ann

Thank you for your complementary comment. I also work in watercolours. They are much harder than oils!! I live on Gozo, a tiny island that's part of Malta, but used to live and work in Cornwall. Would love to see your work, have you any on P O Line? Do keep experimenting, it's what keeps art alive.
