Love this Tessa, especially the sense of distance and those wonderful yellows.

Lovely colours, Tessa, and you've captured the hazy feeling of the morning very well...

This is lovely

Thank you Carole, Jan and Rachel for your lovely comments. I don’t know where happy came from in my description, meant to say patchy!

Ooo, I like this, Tessa. Love those brush strokes.

Caught my eye immediately Tessa, beautiful work. Often the quick response turns out to be the best.

That’s a smashing quickie Tessa! Love the misty distance and the positive brush work in the foreground. A cracker.

Really well captured Tessa, superb style.

Thanks so much Ellen, Marjorie, Fiona and Alan for all your encouragement. Much appreciated and I think you’re right Marjorie, I felt I let this flow without too much thought and complication!

Wonderful painting Tessa, great depth and fantastic foreground with grass and yellow flowers.

It’s a great effect Tessa.

I like this, but personally feel if you crop the foreground back to the base of the plants, you would have a stunning painting as a result. The colours are great.

Love the looseness of this painting- it works.

Thank you very much Cesare, Michael, Julia and Shaun. I will do a test crop of the photo Julia to see how it looks: interesting point, thank you.

I like this - it breathes -

Thank you David, I like that thought!
