Lovely so far, Tessa. Looking forward to the finished piece.

Lovely, this leads all the way up the garden to the house Tessa, beautiful colour and contrasts.

Fascinating to see the progress so far, Tessa. I shall watch with great interest. Looking good.

Gosh, Tessa, that looks complicated but superbly painted...going to be truly stunning

I'm loving this Tessa, some great brush marks and vibrancy.

Looks very good to me Tessa, very instructive to me, a novice with oils.

Great work so far, in fact you could leave it as is if you wanted. Beautifully impressionistic in its presentation. Brian

Thank you all for looking and for your encouragement and kind comments, Carole, Seth, Lewis , Thalia,,Alan, Margaret, Michael and Stephen. Brian- very tempting to leave as is! I’m always fascinated to see how others progress their paintings so would be happy to see others posting similar stages. I think a lot of beginners in particular look at art in exhibitions and think they could never achieve that, so are afraid to try. Therefore it helps to see the stages gone through. I’m letting mine stew for a day or two but hope to post the final version soon. X

Simply beautiful, Tessa.

Grazie Cesare, you’re very kind.

I’d be chuffed with this as the final stage Tessa! Thanks for showing your process, very interesting.

Thank you both Maureen and Fiona. Very tempting to leave.... but? We’ll see. :-)
