Thanks Chris. I was actually indoors! Took some photos on an early morning walk earlier in the week because I liked the look of layers in the landscape. Painted this pm.

Lovely! Captures the scene AND the temperature. I admire your energy in sitting down to paint it, when some of us were gasping helplessly in our fetching undergarments (I thought I'd leave that image with you) fanning ourselves helplessly with a copy of the local paper.

Phew! I feel the reflect heat Tessa. I use the same palette Tessa, doesn’t it make things simpler 😂

That’s interesting Fiona. Yes a minimal palette does make things simpler and I think makes me consider my mixing (which I love) more carefully, to see how many colours can be made from those few. Also makes for better consistency in the painting. Thank you.
