Excellent Tessa! I love the way you have handled the greenery/shrubbery around the house itself…..really sets off the stonework.

Many thanks all for your kind comments. It was both difficult to get it all accurate but not too photorealistic, but actually enjoyable to paint. As with many of these old country houses, I thought the rear of the house and it’s garden, more attractive but this is what they use as the front and what was requested!

This A3 painting is oil on board, completed earlier in the year at the request of my daughters partner as a Christmas present for his boss. I didn’t want to show it before it was given so here it is now. It was thankfully very well received!
