Love the title Tessa ands what it implies.

Please do do more - like this, it reminds me of Ventnor Down, on the Isle of Wight. Your buildings probably aren't pill-boxes, and those on the Down are, but it's the impression and atmosphere that appeals to me.

Many thanks all. Robert, thank you: I must admit I meant I may do more to this, but yes, I could well do more on the same subject. I do ‘like’ a bit of dereliction! I will certainly look up the IOW pill boxes.

Thanks again all, and re my brushstrokes, I am painting on MDF boards with a couple of coats of gesso, so it’s a smoother and different surface to canvas, and helps give this flatter smooth look.

A good theme and well executed Tessa. You do see these boxy looking little buildings left abandoned here and there
