Nice job Tessa, a beauty!

Excellent Tessa, don't think I've seen this before.

Love this kind of painting Tessa and this is good, well done.

Great work Tessa

Thanks all. This was painted a few years ago Lew. I thought I posted it at the time, but maybe not!

Love all the textures in this, Tessa.

I like this a lot Tessa

Lovely Tessa!

Thanks a lot Heather Fiona and Jenny. X

Really lovely, wish I was there Tessa.

Me too Carole. Thank you, and to Russell.

Not seen it before Tessa, just perfect with those sunny blues.

Thank you Marjorie. It was done at a palette knife painting session probably two years ago and has always been one of my favourites.

Beautiful, Tessa!

Thank you Thalia. How are things in Gozo?

Beautifully painted.

Lovely work Tessa. The vigorous way you have applied the paint is especially pleasing. Agree with you ref the NHS. My grand-daughter is in her penultimate year as student nurse. At the moment she is on the front line in a major hospital and I am intensely proud of her.

Oops. I forgot; what is 'Dawn's challenge' please? John

Thank you John. Dawn sets various challenges on the Forum, the current one is a daily photo or two, for anyone to interpret in their own style. Have a look. This was part of the NHS idea, as per title, but was only for the first week in April so is now finished.

That, I really like. A perfect combination of un-laboured, non-photographic and painterly whilst still being figurative.

Wonderful palette knife artwork!

For Dawns challenge this week. This is an older piece but I will try to do a new one over the next few days. I worked in GP surgeries for some years, and can only praise loudly our wonderful NHS.

Although I did a year's Foundation Course at art college after leaving school, I hadn’t painted much in the interim, except for a few attempts here and…
